I just wanted to let you aware the Harry Parker living with the Barr family in your tree is my Grandfather's brother. His name is Harry Parker, and although they have 'adopted' on the 1911 census, he was in fact a British Home Child; a Barnardo Boy. The name Barr was not added to his name. He was shipped in 1910 from England and farmed the Barr farm, he enlisted in the war, returned to Canada, and in 1929 he followed a friend to the US. This friend, George Taylor, resided right beside the Barr family here and he was also a Barnardo Boy who was 'farmed' out. I can only hope Harry and George's stories were not of horror as so many others.
I was hoping to find what became of Grand Uncle Harry after he entered the US but have found no leads. I also see he is the only 'child' listed under this Barr family so it looks like a dead end to find any descendants with pictures or information for us. Anyways, great tree! |

Hi family
My G grandparents are Søren Nielsen and Maren Agerholm Nielsdatter (Glens GGG grandparents). I have been looking after their head stone for the last 50 years on Thorstrup grave yard. At present I am living at the same farm as Søren and Maren bought in approx. 1858 (the farm has been named Agerholm). It is a nice home page you have made. Best regard Solvejg Bork (born d 01.10 1933) |

I have questions about the extraction of the Faechner family records on your website. Did you extract the information from the LDS Film records? For the family group #F8131, Matthias Faechner and Anna Maria Grams, there is 10 years in between the birth of their first child and their second child. Wondering if there are other children but you could not validate if they were part of this family or not. What about Joh Christian Faechner from the same LDS Film from Tarutino, is he part of this family born in 1829? Also, have these records been transcribed and indexed or scanned somewhere, I can not locate if that has been done or not or do you still have to view the physical copy of the films? Anxious to know.

What a great site and tremendous resource. I came across it doing some research on the Tiede family and scanning a family history by my grandfather, Joseph W. Tiede, 1899/1968. Happy to share it.

I was doing some quick research on the LDS website this morning and decided to punch up the location where my family was from along with the name Krause and your website popped up. It was a pleasant suprise since I tend to always get a dead end. My great great grandparents were David Doering and Wilhelmina Krause Doering. You have done an excellent job on the website. I was trying to find out where Wilhelmina died. And you gave me the answer. Thank you so much!

Hello.
Funny, to find old famely relasionchips at the internet. I vere looking for my famely name Bruun, and found your site - and the name "Bodil Marie Tygesen" born in Denmark 2. of juli 1828. It tells me, that we are cousins (great-great) ;-)Her parents was my great-great-grandparents (I guesh!) My great grandfather was a brother to Bodil Marie Tygesen - His name was Christopher Tygesen, born 7. of march 1823. His Daugther Claudia Marie Tygesen, born 13.of december 1853, was mother to my grandfather, Rasmus Christopher Jensen, born 11. of june 1889 - he was merried with his cousin, Inge Marie Bruun f. 29. of january 1895 , they were parwnts to my father, Tyge Bruun Jensen, born 10. of april 1922 and he became father to me at the 29. of juli 1958. I have a book over our famely, where you can read about all this famely-story. I have read in the book, that a big number of people during the time have leaved Denmark to live theire lifes in USA and Canada. (Sorry about my english!) Best regards Inger Feldthaus |

Karl Ross was (born 1816) was my fathers ancestor. My Daddy, born 1926 in Besserabien, was able to trace his family tree until 1816. I am SOOOOOO exited to think that I might be able to find out more! My dad is 83 now, living in Moeglingen, BW, Germany - but I am married and living in Ireland. I would love to find out if the family name Ross is scottish - or irish,.. Cheers, thanks, dankeschoen!

I have traced back to a Titus (b1821) and Ann Cragg (1816) who had a son James (1840)but can not get back any futher. I thought Titus's father was Titus (1782) listed within your site but note he had no children so I've come up against a brick wall. Any help much appreciated.

Hi there.
Looking at your website...it's great!!! I was re-verifying some of my research down the Stovin line. Ann Wells you have as married to Samuel Stovin (born 1798). You have her father listed as William Wells born 1793 married 1811. If Ann was William's first child, you could assume she was born 1812. But Ann's first born (also William Stovin) was born 1823. That would put her at 11 years old when he was born. Now I know that did happen, but I have her born in 1800 with Stephen Wells as her father who was married to Elizabeth Crane (or Crame). Unfortunately, my info is not verified but legit sources - as most of my info is from internet sources from a few years back. I'm hoping someone could verify Ann's father's name??? Muchly appreciated. Fran Suddard |
