![]() | Trunk brought by Christopher Arneson from Norway to Wisconsin in 1880 Trunk presently owned by Curtis and Della Benning. They had a rosemaler research the design on the trunk, which was very washed out. The design is from Lom, Oppland, Norway. Each area has their own style of rosemaling. How beautifully it was restored! Perhaps it belonged to Thora Johnsdatter Horton, Christopher's wife, who died in Norway. | |
