  Notes	Paul Olson, Leva's husband, came to America a year before Leva did. His passage, as well as Nels Johnson's and Grandmother Christopher's was furnished by Christ Arneson. A ticket from Norway to Arena, WI, where most of our relatives landed, was fifty dollars, which included food on the boat but not on the train from New York. After Leva came to join her husband they lived in Christ Arneson's log house for a time before moving to the Bryn Gywen farm. Later he bought a home that he sold to Andrew Munson and bought the present Henry Hansen farm in Walnut Hollow (north of Barneveld, WI). Julia, Leva's eldest daughter, married Nels Hanson, and had one son - Henry. Leva spent her last years in blindness but learned to repeat bible stories from memory, which was a remarkable accomplishment for a person 80 years old. [“History of the Arneson Family” booklet] [3]
