Obituary for Mrs. Richard W. Corbman:
In failing health for the past three years, Mary Jane Wildman, beloved wife of Richard W. Corbman, passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. A.R. Burns, 763 Douglas Street, Oshawa, on Monday night, Nov. 19th, in her 82nd year.
Born near Greenbank, the deceased was a daughter of the late William and Janet Wildman. She was married at Greenbank in 1892 and prior to going to Oshawa, six month ago had lived her entire life in the Manchester district. She was a member of the United Church.
Besides her husband she leaves top mourn her passing three daughters, Mrs. W. Byam, (Nellie) of Uxbridge, Mrs. A.R. Burns, (Margaret) of Oshawa, and Mrs. R. Corner, (Jemina) of Raglan and one son Roy of Oshawa.
She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. T. Bartley, of Port Perry and Mrs. W. Spence of Whitby, four brothers, Edward Wildman, of Whitby, John Wildman, of Texas, Marmaduke Wildman, of Oklahoma, and Richard Wildman, of Oklahoma, 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at the Luke-McIntosh Funeral Home on Thursday Nov. 22, followed by interment in Hillman Cemetery, Utica. The Service was conducted by Rev. S.C.H. Atkinson, minister of Albert Street Church, assisted by Rev.S.C. Griffith, minister of the Oshawa Free Methodist Church.
